WEIZENHEIMER
A Weizenbock with a silly name for
good reason. In
German, Weizen translates to Wheat, and Bock translates to Ram
(and Ram in this context means Strong). Strong
Wheat! Makes sense,
because this beer is fermented with classic German wheat yeast
and plenty of malt to create a strong and sweet beer seemingly
sent from heaven. A
complex melding of spicy clove, slight hints of banana and
vanilla, dark plum fruit and malty, bready flavors and aromas
are balanced in the finish by a large amount of alcohol.
Enjoy this dark ruby brown beer and its light tan head
but be careful too many on an empty stomach and you will
behave as a Weizenheimer!
